Good attempt Tina. You show a grasp of some of the key ideologies of Surrealist & Fantasy cinema. You could have discussed further typical themes found within some of the films we have studied in class (Eg. Svankmajer’s Alice – death, decay, drug & sexual references, etc) although you do begin to mention these.
Good attempt. Please find some time to read the exemplar answer as found on pg.67 in the Studying Surrealist & Fantasy Cinema book. – Grade C-.
